Founder and creative director Ellisha Alexina launched her studio in 2013, and at the time, her practice centered on a proprietary process she developed in house, driven by her fascination for the science and skill of manufacturing. Her creative technique achieves a product that is truly one of a kind. By blending the fundamental processes of hand-painting and silk screening with modern technology, she has created a line of textiles that is entirely unique to our industry.
Ellisha Alexina fabrics are produced on 100% Belgian Linen and made in the United States. The color-ways are constructed from natural dyeing techniques and organic color studies. A wide range of neutrals are offered, along with deep indigos and earth tones, with custom color as an option as well.
As an alternative to Belgian Linen, Ellisha and her team have recently announced the launch of Ellisha Alexina Performance Fabrics. This new line offers the same look, designs, and feel of the Belgian Linen fabrics, but is machine washable, durable and outdoor friendly.
