In Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Erika Powell had launched Urban Grace Interiors, an interior design firm handling projects locally and across the country. From this work she was propelled into a new territory - textiles.
After years of watercoloring with her daughters simply as a way to ‘play,’ Erika had compiled quite a collection of doodles and designs she wanted to do something with. And what better way for an interior designer to share her creations than in the form of textiles? Combining the 'medium' she uses every day with her hand-painted patterns led to the birth of her first textiles collection. The launch of this line represents Erika’s warm invitation for anyone to enter into her dynamic world of design and be inspired by what can come from the ‘art of play.’
