When I started block printing in India, I always tested blocks on paper first and played around with the blocks to sort out their repeat so it"s very exciting for me to introduce printed wallpapers. Coming from a fine arts background wallpapers feel like a large piece of art, an installation transforming a room from the ground up. I started with some of our favorite prints from our fabric line. I added in a spirited toile in all its Rajput glory with galloping elephants, frolicking birds and forts.
